Our Approach to Coaching: Child-Centric and Holistic

At Minisport, we focus on more than just honing athletic skills. Our child-centric coaching methodology emphasises physical development, emotional growth, and the fostering of sportsmanship. This approach also allows children to realise that sometimes they lead, and sometimes they follow- key learning outcomes for well rounded children.

At the heart of Minisport's vision stands our Founder, Matt Paterson. With an unwavering passion for sports and a deep understanding of the positive impact it has on children, Matt envisioned Minisport as a place where kids could not only learn sports but also discover invaluable life lessons.

Our journey began with a deep-rooted desire to kickstart children's sporting journey the right way and to provide parents with - offering a diverse range of sports, passionate coaches, and uplifting environments that nurture both skills and character.

Impact HK

Our team & parents embark on 4 kindness walks per year. These walks provide essential supplies to Hong Kong’s homeless community.

Love 21

This charity provides a strong community and range of activities for Hong Kong’s Downs Syndrome Community - we are proud to donate all profits from our uniform to this wonderful organisation.

Phuket Sunshine Village

We are excited to start our collaboration with this foster home in October 2024, providing their students with used uniforms, equipment as well as training the staff to deliver Minisport sessions in our absence.

HK Refugee Union

The Refugee Union is a community-based organisation, established in 2014 by refugees in Hong Kong with a mission to promote and protect the rights of refugees through advocacy, education, and community building. We are delighted to be able to provide free holiday camps for these children from August 2024 and look forward to developing our relationship in the years ahead.
